NCBA 2016 High School Honor Band, January 15, 16, 17, 2016
Congratulations to three Rocklin High musicians for being selected to perform with the Northern California Band Association's Honor Band in Stockton. The band performed Furioso by Gary P. Gilroy, which was the world premiere of the piece, having been commissioned by NCBA specifically for the honor band. The guest conductor was Dr. Joan DeAlbuquerque.

Winter Concert, December 10, 2015Mr. Douglass' Freshman year as the new Instrumental Music Director is off to a rousing start! A packed house was treated to beautiful music from 120 students from Jazz Band, Concert Band, String Orchestra and Symphonic Band. Plus a few surprises, a trio of sisters, Kiana, Kamelia and Shilla Varasteh, who wrote and played their own song for us. As well as a Symphonic Orchestra, the blending of the String Orchestra with members of the Symphonic Band, which made for a beautifully full sound.

Rocklin Tree Lighting & Parade - December 5, 2015No School Rivalry Here! Rocklin & Whitney High Marching Band got the party started at the annual Rocklin Tree Lighting ceremony, while the Jazz Band serenaded the crowd into the evening.
